Season 4 Episode 6 GIF by Friends

Does anyone know if the bye rounds goes to best 18 or best (another number with the addition of the Flex spot)??

SC help page mentions last seasons bye rules.

If it’s best 22 every game including byes could make things very interesting. And a world of pain rounds 2-4 especially round 3!!!!

Someone explain this to me like I'm 5.
Basically, Rd 2,4 not premo-heavy, so more minimizing Rd 3 exposure, and Rd 13 bye players cop a slight bonus?
Yeah? Nah?

Yeah !
I currently have one premo in both R2 & 4 ….. with best 18 i can cover

Try minimise R3 exposure …. but also need to be wary of R12 bye round

Was thinking about the Round 12 bye problem.

If you kept 1 Keeper on each line with maybe 2 in the Midfield when Round 12 comes around would be best case scenario.

But my starting side has 11 Round 12 players.

8 Possible Keepers including Ruck and my Ruck Flex spot.

Basically 2 in each line and a few rookies.

Rookies easy to deal with but all those Keepers are a problem.

But I don’t want to start without most of them and get at least 10 good scoring rounds out of them.

So I think from Rounds 8-9, Prime upgrade season, I may have to work around sideways trading some of them to Round 16 bye players, then choose whether or not to walk them back in post Round 13 bye (which could and almost should be a no trade bye except on Rookie moves).

As each bye passes by move out of Round 16 bye Players (except Keepers again) and move back in to players coming off their byes each round.

This could be or cost 8-10 trades over 7-8 Rounds, all sideways trades (hopefully not all of them).

I just can’t see a way around it, there are too many prime movers in the Round 12 bye that are must have players. Could list them but we know the ones we want.

Unfortunately it will mean that it will be hard downgrading or upgrading to any Round 12 players as this will just add to the sideways trade count.

Worst case scenario would be downgrading to a high Break Even rookie and riding them til Round 11.

Round 12 will need 1 boost (for late sideways trades) and it may also cause the need of another boost for Round 16 to escape the plan.

Or this could just be another bad season move.
