Really like this time but I have a feeling they might push Sharp onto the wing so Windsor gets more midfield time. I'm probably being optimistic but hoping Windsor effectively replaces the role Sparrow has played and Sparrow is out of the team entirely (Yes, this won't happen). Also agree McVee probably is actually better off staying back, I feel Riv will be a better mid and McVee is already better than Riv as a defender IMO.

James Harmes in the ruck was probably the most classy and bizarre experience I have had watching footy in the past however many years. A real Masterclass

Did you mean not sure all the forwards where there? I get that in drills you sometimes throw players around, because you need someone to contest in a certain spot ect

I actually don't mind the idea of a swinging every now and then, as long as he is predominantly back. Like i don't remember which final it was we swung him forward extremely late, which was a change i liked but Goodwin was way to delayed on pulling the trigger on trying something different.

I don't mind it as a break glass option

But overall this year it's been said to death, he needed to go back and build confidence in his stronger position AND if that didn't work, find form in the 2s. Then when you have a player in good form and confident and if we might need to do something different mid match, then maybe yeah you can swing him there for a quarter or half a quarter and see how it goes as a change up. Goodwin and the coaches, coached Petty into the ground trying to make him into something he isn't off one good game named forward, and the previous more successful change of tmac

Oh. Yeah I meant that. Apparently Kalani White was forward also. Much prefer Petty back but the swingman is sometimes required.

Super sub makes some sense as replacement for a tall as required at each end - mind you given we play multiple tall forwards much of the time that makes less sense.

Unfortunately, a decent guy for that role was Joel Smith, other than the issue of frequent injury. And of course playing with drugs in his system.
