Wouldn't part of "setting ourselves up for next year" logically involve blooding some players so they know what it is all about?

Send them into preseason clear that however much fitter and stronger they thought they needed to get for AFL that it is much more?

Finding out about some players so you can make informed decisions at the trade table and draft?

Playing some players in different positions to see what might be possible?

Out: guys that are proven, known value and importance to 2025

Mac Andrews ceiling is ridiculous. Starting to show some serious signs this season. I do love JVR, but Mac is on another level in regards to potential. Hey, might end up JVR is the better player. Who knows, but I don't think anyone would be complaining if we had Mac over JVR. I am worried some of these interstate kids are looking at ANB and Trac getting toey on leaving and wondering if it's a move they could make soon enough. McVee, Riv, Koz, and JVR hugely important to our future.
