After Petracca went down in round 13, Rivers averaged 64.5% CBAs, scoring roughly an average of 88 in that time, 10 games in the starting rotation in the midfield. He was pretty close behind Clarry and Viney as the #3.
Id imagine Petracca plays a bit more forward to start the year, maybe a 70/30 split while he gets to full fitness, opening up that spot for Rivers. ANB is also gone from his 20% CBAs, a bit more mid clock up for grabs.

He definitely scored better in the midfield, but its not like its way above where hes priced. Maybe we can put some of that down to being new to the role, and maybe a fully fit Clarry makes it easier for Rivers.

Either way, if in the middle hes value.

Just being at half back isnt enough, gotta be that guy who is the designated kicker, otherwise youre better off being in the middle imo
His value also stems from no early bye and a round 15 mid season bye

He will be a close watch PS to see if he gets middle time with Petracca back.

On another note, been on Dale basically all preseason. Just looked at his run first up, not amazing and gone back to Sinclair. Seems to have a really easy run to start the year and not a bad bye.
What’s everyone think on these two?

Im on Dale, only because I think he should average closer to 100. I like the risk/reward.

Sinclair might be affected by the likes of Macrae and Poo taking the midfield clock, and a move more towards NWM being the main guy in d50. Then if Schoenmaker comes in to replace Battle, theyre going to want the ball in his hands a lot too.
Its just risk, albeit small risk, and imo hes got no upside, I want upside in all my players.
