I think he can make a jump, but hes competing against the likes of Oliver, Docherty, Cerra, Day and Coniglio who I have more faith in going 90+, even guys like Ashcroft, JDG, Callaghan, are in that similar price range and are either breakout candidates or decent chances to go back to 90+.
Theres a bit of competition in that 70-85 price bracket.

That being said, in games he went 20+ disposals last year, he went at 90.8. He did that in 9 of his 18 matches
I think he can beat that 20 touches regularly this year. He only had 66% CBAs last year too, if he can pump that up to 75%ish thatll be him sorted.
He went at 19 touches a game last year, and 4.3 tackles. Pump that to 22 touches and 5 tackles, hes up to about 88-90 points per game.

Im interested, I think 90+ is very achievable for him. Main thing is how many of those mid price mids can I fit in my side at once.
That's good analysis

5 year deal for Cerra can only be good signs in their confidence in his body. I only need 6-8 good weeks
No longer a contract year. Pass :p

I'm pondering whether Clarrie is a VC/C option for early part of season...🤔
Could very well be ….so early on the PS … he’s only going to get better, fitness wise

The counter argument to Clarry ripping up the match sim is it was against his Melb teammates. He's a definite starter in my side for sure, but I'd be pumping the brakes on captaincy for a while yet.
Let me have this moment. 😞

Just wait until tigs sees Jayden Short tearing up intraclub games

It's a bit of the Oliver (2023) and Hyde (2024) - which one arrives in 2025.

Get excited???

Look, it was obviously a training drill with two give and gets - I reckon we could have put your out there Wayno and seen something similar (albeit in slow motion). ;) :tearsofjoy:

My eyes tell me Clarry's shape is far better than last year ....you're right, everything else is subjective

Geez, it would want be for $1m+ per annum. At times last year he looked like he'd just step out of a needle exchange. I hope he nails it - you don't lose ability, you lose intensity and motivation. And 5% at that level matters.
