Trades 2025 Fantasy Round 2 Trades

Annual reminder to only make your trades before Thursday lockout if you had to.

Had a hard time reversing my trades the other day because it involved somebody in the Utility position. Rollback team I think is not available post lockout if any player locked out is in a different spot

I've screwed myself with the lack of DPPs

Currently going Taylor > Lindsay & Stone > Hall, banking $296k

Have the coin for Knevitt but no way of getting him in, without trading the likes of FOS, and even then, I only have the one spot at M8 to play Ashcroft/Linsday/Knevitt so it seems like a waste.

Also considering Perryman > Freijah but I think I'll give it another week to see if Perryman can bounce back/Freijah can back it up. Easy trade next week if things don't work out. They verse each other this week too, which should be interesting. If Perryman outscores Freijah, even tho the trade makes money, it'd would've felt like a waste of a trade.

Hey guys unsure where else to post so hoping to get some thoughts here. I’m in a 6 person draft league, current team looks like this

Def: Sheez / Clark (FRE) / Short
Mid: Dawson / Rozee / Trac / Libba
Ruck: English
Fwd: JHF / Macrae / Daniels (GWS)

Bench: Roberts/Caldwell/Meek/Graham
Inj: Flanders

my couple of questions:
  • would you rather Caldwell or Powell for rotating spot in midfield? TP still available on waiver
  • would you swap Meek for SDK? Also avail on waiver, could pick up Ruck status
  • who to cut when Flanders is healthy?
  • any other draft sliders that could come in FWD line if Daniel’s is out for a while?

I’d love for that to be the solution, but I’d have to hold Hastie and trade either M. Reid or Kako for that to work.

I could jump off the M. Reid train, because he looked anonymous outside of that 6 minute patch.

Edit: still can’t afford him without trading Perryman instead of Taylor. Might have to go with SDK + Freijah this week and maybe Hollands goes down to Lindsay if he drops another stinker.
Yeah fair enough, its more so if you're willing to pay over 400k for Lindsay next week, and anything can happen like injuries that might not let you get him, but regardless its still a great trade.

I think the fact he impacted around the ground will be of most interest to Scott. As long as he's doing that I think it will be fine.

I think that comment around throwing a different look is exactly what we are seeing with him taking most CBAs but not rucking the forward or backline
Exactly. Blics is not getting any younger. When Conway has another 4-5 weeks of training perhaps, I'd expect to see him in and SDK goes back into the Blics role. 1 more easy game, then 4 tougher ones.

Perryman - SDK
Sanders - Lindsay (via Hall from UTL to FWD)

$440K in the bank for next week, will hopefully be adding a solid DEF + FWD to the starting 22, since the rookies are so thin in both those lines, whereas we're struggling to fit them all in the MIDs.

I am going to toss and turn on SDK v Freijah all week (and likely make the wrong decision)
After round zero, it was SDK vs Freijah... then some of us went with Taylor for the cash grab and gives us a chance to look at both. Both do well, so now we're still deciding between SDK vs Freijah. The hindsight decision would've been SDK and Freijah over Taylor and Perryman.

I'm deciding between SDK and Freijah and who to move out between Perryman, Ash or Taylor.

I am in this boat too. Both have role issues, Freijah scoring well when moved into the middle in the second half, and SDK with the potential of other rucks playing and tough run. I've decided on SDK if Stanley is not named because 1) He's cheaper and 2) Larger score in his rolling average. Just going the value.

Who’s more important to get this week? SDK or LAschroft?
LAshcroft ....simply because his price is likely to get out of reach ....cash gen 1st priority

In a bit of a pickle. Was an idiot and did not have Bailey Smith. Thinking my best two ins are Bailey Smith and Levi Ashcroft.

Stone > Lashcroft for first trade.

Second trade I'm thinking Callaghan/Day/Oliver to Bailey Smith.
Callaghan is going great though and wouldn't mind holding, means I have an extra rookie on field this round of course. Day has a lower breakeven (60), and Oliver is up against North.
Could also go Perryman to Freijah but I feel like that nets me the least value and points as opposed to the other options? 😕

Currently got Flynn at R2 and was looking at options over the next week or two, Briggs came to mind as he should have dropped a fair bit of cash and his BE would mean further drops over his next 2 games.

Bit flummoxed though because his BE hasn't moved, it's still around what he's priced at.

Thoughts?

Bizarre.

Swear it said 200+ yesterday lol.

Game seems a bit of a shambles this year.

Surely that's a bug. His breakeven should be in the 150 region. Likely the result of round 0 shenanigans and the numbers fudging up.

Sent the powers that be a message, I've noticed a couple of others, guess there's issues with round 0, hence the late lockout lift.

I don't have Perryman but I can see him dropping a 100 just as he's jettisoned by many, while his replacement goes at 60. That Fantasy Gods do this.
Richards was BOG against North so he’ll probably try and cool him. Hard to envisage a 100 but ya never know.

SDK, a likely replacement, most definitely has a 60 in his arsenal. 🍑
