Going to be worried if we're 13th at the bye next year

Pretty easy first half of the season

Looks like the opposite of our draw last year which started tough, got easy for about 10 weeks and then was brutal to finish. Bunch of easy games in the first half of the season and post bye it should be a murderors row.

Rough to get Freo in Perth and West Coast at the Gabba - would have loved that to be reversed.

For Melbourne based fans (who like to watch the game live):
Saturday April 5: MCG vs Richmond
Saturday April 26: Marvel vs St Kilda
Saturday May 24: MCG vs Hawthorn
Round 18: Marvel vs Carlon
Round 21: MCG vs Collingwood

...and
(Sunday May 11: Bellerive vs North Melbourne)
(Friday June 20: GMHBA vs Geelong)

Happy with 3 games at the MCG.

The draw looks fine to me until the last 4 games which could be problematic if we really need to win say 3 of them. But the Hawks and Swans at home we should be a really good chance.

We did win the flag so looking at it from that standpoint the draw's as good as we could've hoped for

Reasonably happy with our fixture next year, I'll take playing North in Tasmania and Geelong at GMHBA over the additional games we had in Adelaide and Perth this year. Glad we're not playing in Canberra or Ballarat.

3 MCG games is an improvement and playing Hawthorn at the Gabba. Travelling for consecutive games after our early season bye isn't ideal but for the most part we've been given a good fixture considering we're the premiers.

Living in Perth I 100% agree. Would love to watch a West Coast belting

I think Freo will be a top side next year so glad we don’t get them twice.

IMO Geelong, hawks and Sydney could be anything. Remember hawks and Sydney had barely any injuries this season just gone.

I'm actually stoked with the fixture when usually I love complaining.

So bizarre having a "soft start" I usually feel pretty stitched up.

Geelong and Sydney both off equally short preseasons - in to eagles, bye, Richmond. Dogs tough then Pies, Saints, Suns, North, Dees - it's ridiculously easy on paper.

Those last 8 games are brutal but so be it.

The timeslots aren't ideal - lots of sunday games and only 2 Fridays?

I rate Freo and GWS for next year so once against them is good. Swans are always beatable. Hawks ,who knows. Geelong will be competitive I fancy. The Dees might have a bit of a comeback next year with Petracca fit and everything they've heard about themselves so happy to be playing them once.

On paper ,with what we know now ,it's not a bad draw.

You should get the hardest draw if you win the premiership, to be honest.
We've potentially got the hardest draw ever for a premiership winner. We might well be the first or second team ever to get double ups against two teams that finished above them on the ladder.
