Yep Ed, Bont and Libba the starting 3. Kennedy and Sanders with a few more CBAs
Who gets preference ....the ball winning & experienced inside mid ....or the more like for like player in Sanders

I won't hold you to your thoughts ...............well, yes I will actually :p

Well, it's Bevo, so who knows....

That said he can hold a solid grudge and Sanders rubbed him the wrong way last yr, not sure if that plays into it. He also has history of giving players from other clubs a crack early (Baker etc)

Sanders best on in our intra.
I just removed him too. Back in he comes

Sounds like he is killing pre season. I think he is all class I just don’t trust Bevo (sub risk)

Wonder if he can still go 85-90 playing high half fwd/CBA time - I know stevebbb is also a fan

Looks like Sanders takes the Treloar role ....seems like for like to me

I’d rather Sanders over Parker tbh.

Besides Gawn/Macrae I really don’t want anyone over 30 in my team.

Kennedy is a better HF and Sanders much more of a 'mid only' type player so that may play into the thinking.
Kennedy is a gun defensive mid though so that may be a lever to pull if an opposition start winning 'clean' clearances

I guess it'll also depend on the health / form of Libba ....he's 33 in May & taken a lot of bruising over the years

He's one concussion away from a long layoff.
He was also excellent in the clearances in the match sim after quarter time, but Sanders was BOG and kicked 3 goals from the midfield...

Will you be starting Sanders mate?

Or pointless with Treloar eventually coming back

He's dual position so he's in my current team.

But then again, there are only 1,847 more team changes to make before round 1. I fell like there are more of bargains and fewer locks this year.

Sanders over a JHF/Rank type really opens up some delicious opportunities further afield.

I don’t think JHF/Izak will be too far out of reach by the time upgrade season rolls around.

Besides, we may get some unexpected DPP’s after rounds 5 and 11 in the forward line who are must haves anyway.

Petracca :eyes:

I still reckon Kennedy is a better pick than Sanders. Even if he’s on a forward flank I reckon he’s safe for a 90+ average.
Sanders is a crazy pick when you stop and think about it.

  • Unknown role (and Treloar to return early in the year)
  • Crazy Bevo
  • second year
  • terrible price
