I really dont doubt he is genuinely interested in joining but if you had some Vic knob saying "Serong will be in Carlton colours next year barring it falling apart", you'd be triggered. It's extreme knobbery to put out an article saying a 2 year contracted player is 100% moving clubs... in Jan.

Probably one of the first instances of a player liking plenty of the opposition clubs posts as well as a fan page post about them, while being under 2 years of contract at another club.
He clearly wants to join us so you can only hope he is peppering the Dees for a trade all year. We really need to hope Melbourne have a decent year on field because if they are trash like last year, they will play as hard as one possible could.

Also one of the first instances of a paper running a trade rumour in January which is just apparently standard behaviour for the West, true gutter type areas that only harms themselves and the chances of the trade happening. Would much prefer it to be left until October.
