Finally got provisional MCC membership after a 17 year wait. Does anyone here have it? Does the club support count towards the clubs tally?

Also have to say....early days seems the membership dept, the app, all mostly dogshit experiences so far. Does the MCC generally not give a shit because they're counting cash?

Got my membership packs today.

Future Roos pack was decent. My daughter loved it. Personally feel like it could have benefited from one or two more little things (like a NMFC pen, or something around that level).

Medallion is nice. The commemorative patch is very nice and I'll probably put that on the sleeve of my 2025 polo.

The membership card... has an actual barcode! Does that mean we can use it for entry to games this year and don't need to dick around with the god awful ticketmaster platform anymore?!

If you need help deciding on where to put the commemorative patch l'm sure a few on here will offer some suggestions... :laughv1:

That's okay, it was my last post as a former North Melbourne member. There is no point in my contributing to the NM threads anymore. I'll be lurking around other threads of interest in Bigfooty. But the club has certainly lost me as a member forever. It was a massive breach of trust to compromise my credit card. Good luck to them with their future endeavours. I won't be joining in the chorus or cheering for the Roos as a member anymore, more of a silent witness. No more membership, no more annual contributions to their Box-on or Arden Fund and no more raffle tickets. In soccer parlance they have kicked an own-goal with me. Or Ticketmaster have done it on their behalf. They certainly don't seem to be too worried about it so neither will I be. :)
It's a real shame that you will no longer contribute to these boards. I always enjoyed your contributions.
 
Yep we have always paid over the phone and not online due to the club messing up the seats in their comms to us or only emailing my now 11 year old daughter and not including any other family members (including her Dad who is me and is over 30 year consecutive ). Last year Mrs Ruckle paid on line , then called to check it was all ok , due to the above mentioned vagueness, it was and we sat where we have for years for the home games actually at home. This year its auto renewal. Turns out its in the T & C , once you pay online that you are automatic going forward. Pretty ordinary.

We have let it slide cuz we are idiots that dont see an option of not renewing as something we could ever do. We also know our credit card they have is about to expire so next year should be back to paying manually over the phone. Somewhat concerning reports above on that front but cant see how a credit card with a big 4 bank could have new details passed on.

Due to lack of trust in club have called despite auto renewal to check we are all going to be in the right spot and together etc. Assured ok...

Sorry, but when you renew next year and give your credit card details over you will be back on to Autorenew with the new card

It happened to me

I would suggest going into the Office Club and handing over notes
