And I reckon he’s still a year or four from hitting peak physique.

2meter steam train that runs through brick walls, and never stops. Get him into the old richo positionAnd I reckon he’s still a year or four from hitting peak physique.
Some track watchers mentioned that Barrass had told fans at training before the break that essentially the extent of his back issues were overblown and that it requires no special treatment outside of the typical body management a player around 30 would deal with. What's the expectation for Barrass re: games for the year?
A lot of talk about how bad his back is and how it will require constant maintenance, but so far I've not heard anything over the pre-season about where he's at with it.

Yes, on the wing. Player that size and that running ability would be hard to stop.2meter steam train that runs through brick walls, and never stops. Get him into the old richo position
I think this is the best shape out players have looked in a pre season for a long time.
What worries me is in his highlights after taking a mark or spoil he spends quite a bit of time on his back on the ground. Some track watchers mentioned that Barrass had told fans at training before the break that essentially the extent of his back issues were overblown and that it requires no special treatment outside of the typical body management a player around 30 would deal with.

Blanck and Frost would be reliable replacements at FB, should they need to be called upon.Blanck likes this post
Yeah but Ramma doesn't have that ball chasing mid nous and instinct as Richo did. He'll be a ruck/forward with special running ability if he makes it.Yes, on the wing. Player that size and that running ability would be hard to stop.
How many Pitonet’s hands is his head? Needs some work I reckon.
Did Richo have the ball chasing nous? For me he played similiar to that as he did as a forward, demanding the ball.Yeah but Ramma doesn't have that ball chasing mid nous and instinct as Richo did. He'll be a ruck/forward with special running ability if he makes it.

I'd rather they worry about Ginnivan, Watson & Moore. Will be Papley and Hayward that could worry us.
Don't have time - too busy worrying about Croc, Hardwick and Weddle.I'd rather they worry about Ginnivan, Watson & Moore.
HNY Hawks, only been saying that for the best part of 18 months, mainly to parts my own board and some salty Freo supporters that liked to inexplicably chime in on the Barrass trade thread. Some track watchers mentioned that Barrass had told fans at training before the break that essentially the extent of his back issues were overblown and that it requires no special treatment outside of the typical body management a player around 30 would deal with.
I love watching Papley do his thing as well.Something tells me that Dimma would relish playing a role on a showboat type player like Papley (who I love to watch do his thing).

The vanishing act he does in Grand Finals is glorious to watch and a thing of beauty.
Thanks for the photos Pinoy HawkSome people relax and enjoy their Saturday, while some people work.
And some people train and try to get better.
Pics taken from this morning's training (11th Jan).
He is looking far more trim. Thanks for the photos Pinoy Hawk
Does anyone else reckon that Cholly looks a lot fitter and leaner ??

Agree. But this is gonna be one tough game to win.I'd rather they worry about Ginnivan, Watson & Moore.
Based on training reports it sounds like he's a black hole with an event horizon on the 50m arc. Any ball that enters ends up in his hands. Dylan Moore did an interview the other day and said it's very difficult being a Hawthorn forward now.Have track watchers been happy with how he’s looked, came as advertised? Him and Battle have given you guys incredible backline depth.

He is exceptional, helps having over a decade learning from one of the best intercept defenders of the modern era how to position and read the play. Will probably just need to adjust to Hokball by moving the ball quickly to your runners after a mark and shorter, less loopy kicks.Based on training reports it sounds like he's a black hole with an event horizon on the 50m arc.
