Hi all
I'm not sure whether this is a privilege or me just asking for free labour.
In the past we have had a player buddy draft where posters put their hand up to be a buddy for a Carlton player, in terms of updating their player thread regularly.
This can be by way of linking to articles about the player, posting game stats for that player each week or anything relevant to keep a current record of that player in our BigFooty archives.
Some of these threads are chronically ignored, and it simply isn't possible for mods to keep 44 threads updated.
First in, first served ... if you want to be a player buddy, simply nominate the player and we will add your username to the title of the player's thread. If you also feel that a player has done something significant enough to move a thread to the main board for more fan engagement, please let us know and then remind us when the interest has waned and it is time to move it back to the player board again.
Let's get those threads ticking over. There is plenty of info in various threads about players, that should be copied to the player thread as well.
If we get a heap of interest, we can always double up so more than one poster is responsible for updating the thread. Other posters can still get in first and update threads if they have something they want to post. This is just to make sure that someone is doing it.
Nominate away and I'll add them to this thread and the player threads.
