If a player can cover ground or add speed then they are at least a chance at some stage. He looks like he is putting his name out there so maybe. We have shown before a willingness to pick green types.. Id pick Hoff to be a chance on speed ..but they all have to learn a different level of footy. Id say Rets will have to learn to take care of the ball a little better. Turnovers are killers at afl level. Id like to know how Pike is going in the running cause if he can up that then he will be pushing for a game at some stage as its probably our most obvious area of weakness in the best23

I'm gradually going bankrupt over Christmas so i assume the wife has ensured they're well catered for

It will most likely be one of those 6 or 8 quarter games that include 35ish players from each side but i agree it is probably the wrong time of day for it.
Something earlier in the morning or later in the afternoon would be better imo.
I was using the term sarcastically, as that is what a lot of yanks now say when they move to a smaller town ! We sold at the top of a cycle in Melbourne and bought at the bottom of one in Adelaide - simple maths.

Ah, you're the reason my friends can't afford to have kids now
Huh - if only i was capable of cornering any housing market ! Anyway, like both the SA lads recruited this year - probably slow burners but both have the physical tools and skills so should go well in our development system. I have spoken to people who know both of them and they are really humble, hard workers, so that’s about all you can ask for at this point.
