Oh i know but Thursdays are a pain to get to.

From a TV point i get it but for attending i don't.

Thursday nights aren't fun from the perspective as a fan wanting to attend as many matches as possible and we know we've got at least 2 of them next season

Hawks want more home games and Cats want less. Surely that could be arranged. We averaged 54k for our MCG home games.

You played 6 games at the MCG, the average is heavily skewed by games against Richmond (58k) and Collingwood (74k). You can have more games at the MCG, but you're not going to play Richmond, Collingwood and Carlton every week. You're more likely to get the 36k-38k crowds you had against the Crows and Swans.

It's so stupid, it stuffs up records and stats too.

As someone trained in computer systems engineering I should welcome starting counts at 0 but not here.....
I hope the statisticians are practical enough and bold enough to treat Round 0 as Round 1, despite what the AFL wants.

Or you could just as easily say ‘average is heavily skewed by games against Sydney (38k) and Adelaide (36k)’.
