Why?
After the first few rounds how many times during the season do you have more than 26/27 playing?
How many unique players do you have against coaches in the top 5k/10k during the season? How many unique players will you have out in that 26/27? Then you get to drop the worst 4/5 scores. IMO you'd have weeks with identical scores in match-ups and everyone being within 50 points of "par"

We need tools to split teams up, that would bunch everyone even closer.

You’ve gotta have some decision left with who to field. If you’re playing basically everyone that takes a big bit of fun out of it.

I still think play 22 and have beat 20 is the way to do it. I don’t really care about injuries cos that’s always gonna happen. But the sub is just killing it, especially with more concussions being diagnosed.

initial thought is only Daicos of relevance to tempt starting. Can see me avoiding all premiums from these teams to start with.

Bailey Smith will be another player but everyone will have him you would think. Plus he isn't really a premo and should be around $300k

Think last year showed it’s not worth starting players from most of them teams. Gawn and Heeney prob the only two.

Won’t start a defender or mid from them, can make a case for forwards because of how little options there are.

You could probably lump stupid sexy Flanders in with Gawn and Heeney also.

118 average over the first 3 for a $494k player wasn’t too shabby, and by the time his bye rolled around in rd3 most teams had other issues that had arisen.

Easy correct in rd 4 if you didn’t already have him, but starting that trio and largely avoiding Port/Freo players actually worked ok for me.

It wasn’t looking flash when Butters/Serong/Ryan started and continued the way they did, I must admit.

Overall, I started 7 rd 0 premos though.

Whitfield/Daicos

Gawn/Grundy

Flanders/Heeney

Man, my trade history is COOOOOOKED.

Is there a thread where we can post, point and laugh at everyone’s trade history WaynesWorld19 ?

I think there should be. Mine is eye-watering, a sight to behold, horrible even.

I was keen on Ashcroft, but he can wait now.

Daicos definitely an upgrade.

I was keen on starting Will Day after watching his 10 game run that netted a 114 ppg average last season.

Should have a starting price of $500kish?

Rankine another option.

JHF priced at 100 I think, might not need to start him, unlikely he becomes unaffordable.
His one game V Collingwood was one of the highlights of my season.

125 of the most delectable points and it only cost me two measly trades.
