For all his flaws as a footballer, you know the guy has the clubs best interests at heart and only wants to see the team suceed.

You also don’t win a B&F unless you can play and that year he played great footy.

I think he knows that there is every opportunity that he plays a bit in the VFL this year and I think he will be ok with that if the club is better for it.

Who knows, now that the pressure valve has released and the game day responsibility of leading a very young and inexperienced is lessened he might have a bit of a football resurgence. There are now other experienced players on the list to take some of that burden.

I won’t be surprised if he starts to play better footy and wherever that is VFL or AFL is good for the club.
