so from the time McKay was drafted to the time that Brown left there were 4 Ben's on the list.

This still does not eclipse the 5 from the Mabon years.
So are you saying there's ben more Bens on the list than there has ben most recently.

Forward thinking as always, then president "Syd O'Cleary" made the club quite a bit of coin after releasing the fundraiser track "I Got Bills".
Yeah that single got the abacus moving in the accounts department for sure..

But it wasn't until Syd released our version of Bill(ie) Jean with Sav Rocca on Lead Guitar, Majak Daw on Keyboards, Mick Martyn on Drums and Herman Pernorkel on vocals, via Tick Tock that the cash floodgates really busted open..

Was in the champion data AA side IIRC.
"Champion" a misnomer...... the same mob that gave us Luffy! The gist of this thread I think is you can't just rely on stats. All things considered Zorko is racking up stats in the Lions back line, and turning defence into offence, but wouldn't say this premiership season is him at his most damaging. (If Caleb Daniel can play the same role as Zorko for us, I'd be pretty happy with that). But I agree JZ was past his best when moved to defence for us, BUT he did play the role very well, and made forwards accountable with his physicality and contested marking. Statistically/fantasy wise was great because the ball was mostly chipping around trying to find a way out of D50 and of course players are going to look to their captain to take the responsibility. Unfortunately would come back over his head time and again.

We had the record for the most number of Majaks on an AFL list at any particular time. We also had the Tarryn record.

IIRC, Melbourne broke that record when they took on Daw already having Majak Glumplich on the list.

I went and had a watch yesterday on my last day in Melb. Never seen them train before so not really in a position to say if it was a great session or not, but they were fairly loud and seemed to be working hard on a forward press. Three teams rotating and you seemed to get points for stopping the opposition getting through the zone.

Comben running laps on his own was working hard. Seemed a fair few not training fully. Fisher, Archer, Phillips, Payne, Konstanty, Dawson x2 George, Goater amongst players doing their own work away from the main group.

Lots of repeat 100 metre runs. Not sure what else I can add. Seemed a good vibe.

Marstermind (apologies if this has been posted or asked previously)

We currently have 4 Lukes on our list. Is this the most of a single name we have had on the list at one time? If not what was the most common name on a North list?

Probably already been answered but I'll check it out after work.

In terms of unique names - the only person to play AFL with that given name since 2000 I can think of
Atu Bosenavulagi
Bigoa Nyuon
Brynn Teakle
Digby Morrell
Djaran Whyman
Farren Ray
Kyron Hayden
Majak Daw
Marley Williams
Phoenix Spicer (there's a Phoenix on GWS's list but he hasn't played yet)
Saverio Rocca
Tarryn Thomas
Winston Abrahams

With just a quick look, I might be wrong with some of those and there's probably more.
