My take on round one is that any player, especially the older soldiers, who have any on-going niggles will be eased into the season. I mean we probably don't need to win a game till round 6.

Actually down Geelong way they must be spitting chips that they got bloused in the last couple of minutes in the Prelim. It's great telling my best mate , a mad Geelong supporter , that the Cats were 2 minutes away from winning a flag by 10 goals and being hailed as one of the greatest teams ever.

Yeah ,didn't want to tempt fate but the guys look in pristine condition and you could see the determination their faces. Maybe there's intense competition to be a part of it in 2025.
