With a ack of established forward line options, it's why I believe Moir will stake a claim

Our lack of established forward line options is so serious, we even lack all the letters in the word!

I’m a massive fan of Wilson. Will add pace and aggressive running to our group. Which is what we lack. Also a good kick.

I posted him as my big improver a while ago. Admittedly on hope more than anything I’d seen this preseason. Although he looked good in the latest training vids

Yep and people saying he needs to play VFL first makes no sense

Will Jagga play VFL and need to prove himself first? I doubt it. Did Ollie?

Pre season, match sims and structure will mean more. I don’t know if Wilson will play early but names like Wilson Ben Campo Lucas Campo Lord Binns Moir Lemmey etc that will be pushing and I am hoping that the MC seriously consider a few of them

Yep, doubt the player we rate as the best in a so called super draft plays VFL. Particularly one who is rich in qualities we lack such as pace and polish.

There are a few who are still a little raw who I think will be playing plenty of AFL this year purely because their talents and strengths are strong in areas we are weak in.

I think of the younger brigade (<21 yo) the players prioritised for AFL games this year would include - Cowan, Ollie, Motlop, Jagga, Lord and Moir.

I think Binns and Wilson will still find it difficult to get a lot of AFL exposure this year being behind these six imo.

Also with experienced players like Haynes, JSOS and Docherty available the opportunities will be even more limited.

Should be no pecking order in age, where they were drafted or when they arrived

Of course some have better talent than others, like Walsh playing day 1, which doesn't mean others don't need to find consistency at the lower level

Would you say it's more difficult to show consistency in a team that is struggling or is that no excuse?

Always helps when you are surrounded by better players and continuity of those types

But development is never linear, nor a given

I like what we have added as VFL sign on players

In that clip, I absolutely love Vossy emphasising how the young guys have set the benchmark/standards high which lifted everyone else up. We desperately need some of these young guys to take the reins carry us to our club to our 17th 🏆. Who will it be?
