I haven't seen alot of him to comment, but is it possible we just had him on the same fitness routine as Thilthorpe and the added size is deliberate?

I still wonder if we prioritised strength over speed last off-season and will see alot more running this year

I don't recall TT building loose muscle around the midriff.

It's going to be very interesting to see what sort of shape some of them arrive in.

Schoenberg needs to be in the best shape of his life or his AFL career is over.

Cook will need to have added significant strength as well as running power. If he still looks like he's 13 years old then his career is done.

Jones will need to have some zip back in his legs. He (understandably) lost it after the foot injury. Hopefully it's back.
Re Jones. I took note that he appeared to be a lot quicker in the last few, say around 5 games than what he was moving at all year. You're correct for these long term injuries often it takes a year to fully regain your movement and speed.
Sberg could be another like that, Achilles isn't an easy injury to overcome.
Cook, I don't rate IMO he's just there, doesn't use his talent.
Pedlar was definitely carrying an injury but needs to produce this year.

I think Jones back to his best has a spot in the team. He is very handy depth.

The one that could really be a game changer is Pedlar. If he can get fully fit, he offers something unique in both the forward line and in the midfield (in short spurts).

Given the postage stamp size of Adelaide ....it simply amazes me, only one person can make the effort to get to training
It is true that for a large supporter base - on BF don’t Crows board have the most ever posts (perhaps I have that wrong?) but it would be good to see some other retired or part time workers make the occasional effort if possible.

The more reports the merrier and don’t need to benchmark (or be intimidated) against Bigmans great work.

Yes that's correct ....but there's a lot more spam posts as well

There used to be 3-4 posters who would regularly post training reports .....I in fact did for a few years as well, when I visited ADEL over Christmas Holidays .....but it was a thankless exercise

I'll get to a couple of training sessions, at least, this year ....and more going fwd ....you see a lot about players at training sessions

Being interstate and only visiting home 1-2 times per year I generally don’t see any (if home Xmas / NY the players ain’t there). That said a few years ago I did go and hardly reported on the players but went and chatted to about 20 others watching and learnt some interesting things (eg Tom Lees family was there for his first pre-season and they were open about being worried if he would last away from his family in Perth after losing a close family member in the immediate years before being drafted - perhaps his Mum from memory)

Not compared to what you see on game day you don't. Surely we all played with guys that looked a million dollars at training but couldn't find the ball on the weekend.

bigman ....mate, my comment about HAW having the best training reports, was not a dig at the quality of your much appreciated efforts

It was more a reference to the longevity of training reports, and the number of posters getting out to training and providing feedback over many years

Jen on the COLL board is amazing .....posts video's of most sessions, amazing effort ....and is so balanced in her reporting on players

Still got the old logo kits on
I saw the lad in the Brisbane Lions shorts and thought that they need to find him some Crows shorts to replace them.

Shame Paddy Parnell is a delist, if he was on the trip could have given him a pair as they’re about the same size 😝

I can also see a Sonny Walters shirt there too.

Hopefully Strachan looks like he’s seen a weights room too and not just a golf course
