98% sure it is backed up by the small amount of the number shown can only be a 5 or a 6 (Ben is 25).

Also given the fact that he has the red jumper on i'd hazard a guess he was part of the "A's" side and all of them are easily recognisable by face other than newbie Paton
I hadn't made the connection to the Wicks "incident" actually. I don't know enough about what went on to determine Wicks needed to "grow up" based on that. If anything, my suspicion is that he got the rough end of the pineapple in the way that incident became public, but I don't really know.No your memory is just fine. Wicks has been prone to do a few dumb things onfield, probably less about growing up and more about a player on the fringes of the team trying too hard. And I could imagine McInerney doing something dumb onfield too - I just genuinely couldn't recall anything (and was worried about my memory).

I'm sure it wasn't the case but based on two of the photos of the match sim posted above, would appear that Green didn't have a direct ruck opponent which looks funny.
I'd guess it was mainly Ladhams as reportedly Grundy and McLean didn't play.

Correct, Ladhams played full forward, and they had a player I didn't recognise (VFL or top up?) play against Green

Heard mention in these pages a few weeks back that young ruckman from Sydney Uni had been training with them. Harrison Podmore-Taylor. Might have been him.
Anyone happen be at the match sim today or have read about any other players not on the main list who played to make up the numbers? Potential VFL signings or Academy kids perhaps?

The only players I recognised today were Ben Edwards and Matty Lloyd. There were 3 or 4 other players I didn't recognise, one of which was doing the ruck work for the blue team vs Green for the first half. I could take a stab at guessing 2 of them, but it'd be a wild guess.
