After 24 hours of tinkering with my squad I think I’ve landed on a structure that I kind of like today.

10 ‘keepers’ plus Macrae, Smith, Clarry, and Mills.

Few early bye round premos but **** the byes.

Few VC/C options.

Few risks.

Latest version. Taken out Kiddy for Schoey. M3 speculative. Tossing up between him and Soligo. Finn averaged 72.7 pre bye and 89.6 post bye this year. A big pre season watch. Can't see me making too many changes to the forward line as they pick themselves. Still 7 round 3 players but 3 of them are rooks. Can't see myself making too many changes there as the other 4 are players that I really want.

Really not convinced about any def premo other than Sheezel and SamFlan. NWM is ok, but I doubt he has a huge jump in average. Got to pick someone though. I like Houston, but he's an upgrade target not a starter.

Rivers I dunno, more a placeholder. Windsor is training in defence apparently which suggests he stays in the mid. Melbourne need to change it up a bit, can't see Trac/Pig/Viney getting it done any more. Not sure he's really good enough though.

Very interested to watch Port in the pre-season to see who takes Houston's role. Someone will show up though. Short in theory should beat his average but he's a bum that keeps getting injured and I have PTSD from owning him in that past.

I liked Soligo as well, but with the Peatling and Draper acquisitions and Izak slated for a more mid minutes I’m a tad wary until I see what Nicks has planned.
