Williams is an absolute spud. Flynn will be back sooner rather than later.Interesting that Flynn was named as first ruck in Thursdays' team with Williams on the extended bench and then was just cold cut on Friday... nasty.
He was shockingly uncompetitive against Witts and you could see Mini sharpening the knife on the quick video grabs of the coaches' box.
The writing is on the wall. Flynn to the bin.
Lindsay or Hall if you had to trade one in this week?
Other trade is Flynn to SDK
Cash gen is king and Lashcroft probably goes close to NWM this week anyway given they're playing the Eagles.Just about to lock in some trades before heading off to watch The Dolphins up here n Redcliffe...
Out - Perryman, Langford, Flynn
In - NWM, SDK, Knevett
Gets me 1 more season holding premo in NWM and some good cash gen + job security.
Or better if sacrificing NWM, swinging SDK back and getting in Lashcroft for ultimate cash gen while it's best 18 over the next few weeks?

They both are.Williams is an absolute spud. Flynn will be back sooner rather than later.
Yeah, ridiculous trading rookies this week.Neither, i refuse to do it! Need another week of vision if your going to burn a trade imo.
Yeah I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t give him an extra week, especially in a best 18 week.
Obviously players can fall off a cliff, and yes he’s had an ACL.
But for multiple reasons I’m keeping him
1) I fully expect Port to bounce back. Richmond had a stirring win but they aren’t going to keep it up. Inside 50s were 65-40 Carlton’s way, that’s not sustainable for a team of kids to hold up against. Port got smacked and lost inside 50s 65-48. I expect that to be in their favour this week, and should record a decent win at home.
SPP’s average in ~50+ wins in 2022-2023 was 84.2.
2) He averaged 70.8 in 4 games v Richmond across the same time frame
3) He recorded 0 tackles. His career average is consistently 3-5.
He got 8 disposals. His career average is consistently 13-15.
The numbers he got in round 1 are not reasonable to assume to continue. His career numbers are highly achievable (pretty smack bang middle for a pressure forward once he moved there)
4) it’s best 18 so you can weather another sub 30 score
We’ve got a favourable match up, bounce back spot, good career record, & a player that performs well when the team does. Port will come out firing & will be giving themselves every chance to lock the ball in inside 50 40 odd times.
I’ll give him the chance to kick a couple, get 5-6 tackles including a couple inside 50, and get an 80. I think it’s more likely he does that than fail completely again.
There’s also no shortage of options to trade him too but the extra week gives you the strongest chance of picking the right one.
I’m in the same boat as you. LAshcroft or Lindsay. Leaning towards Lindsay as he’s named on the field and more cash on the bank.Drunken trade for Garcia when got me Warner instead of Hall so that was a result.
Really not sure what I will do with Flynn now, its either Lashcroft against the WCE where he should score decent or Lindsay vs NORF who should score well.
Decisions.
