Right, thanks. Had never heard that before so guessing it is new for this season. Also assume that means all 23 are able to interchange from the start of the game not just 22, especially given the need for another ruck/tall to help out Green and a thin key forwards rotation.

So no Leidler, and not on the injury list either. The reserves mysteries continue.

That 23rd has been a rule for a few years

Well it's clear we have a defined style of play this year, a clear step up from our time under that previous knob that was in charge. The reserves side is a strong reflection of the senior side. A backline performing above expectations despite being peppered and a forward line of players that can't kick straight or over a distance of 35 metres.

Best Francis, Edwards, Cleary so far (and Shipley). The backs mopping up most entries.

Buller presenting and competing well.

Green dropped a sitter, but had a bit of confidence to take his opponent on at one point (some might say madness but he got away with it).

Paton a few good involvements, thought the free in the middle after a spoil was harsh, but hard to judge.

Just need to hit targets inside 50 and in better spots.

Trying to watch it on my phone is maddening. Can't see anything properly.

I've got it on a 50" TV and when it gets to the outer side, it's still hard/impossible to know where the line is.

There was a french bulldog in the background over there though, maybe we could sub it on to help with ground balls inside 50.
