I think he draws that similarity with Dale Thomas when he first started playing.
Look at him now though.
I did see Dyson move out of the way of a contest on Friday night, but you get the feeling that he prefers to try and get around people, he does the same thing with the ball, he sort of tries to outsmart his opponent, as opposed to trying to run through/past them. I think he does the same thing when contesting.

Heppell's top attribute isn't his hardness at the ball, but it doesn't need to be either. Plenty of players aren't known for their hardness at the ball. Think of guys like Griffen, Cooney, Akermanis, McLeod, James Kelly etc. They aren't known for being "tough at it" or "in and under", but they are all (or have been) great players. As long as he goes for the ball when he has to then thats fine for me. Not everyone has the J.Brown/Colbert/Archer/Hird ridiculous attack on the ball, and not everyone needs to really.

Kong is right. Who gives a flying f*** what Teffy or mufassa say? Their bias is obvious, they will never give Heppell a fair go. Discussing their rubbish just gives them what they want. They'll always call Heppell soft no matter what, we just need to give accept that and stop giving them the satisfaction of expending so much energy responding to their rubbish.

Half the fun of trolling for those knobs is getting people caught up in tedious arguments.
