I intruded in your match review thread last week to say how impressed I was with him against us. Just superb again last night.

Pendlebury is a good comparison. I also see Simon Black in him. Inside, outside, quick hands, elite disposal, one paced but non stop running, all left foot, good looks! Does he surf?

Whatever happens, he just gets on with his game. He seems to have a really good, even temperament.

I feel like such a dick for being so critical two months or so ago.

His footy in Watson's absence has been next level.

Don't, because there's a massive step up between the first half of this year and the second. Massive.

Heppell has been sensational in Watson's absence. I'm hoping he will be able to maintain his level once he's no longer the "main man" so to speak. What i like most about Heppell is the guy never plays a bad game.

Also i think his ball use and decision making is improving too - which doesn't surprise me greatly. I remember how good it was in his first season (playing on half back flank admittedly) and we knew he had it in him but its a lot harder when you have a tagger hanging off you in the clinches so its taken him some time to get there.

It's been important for both Heppell and Myers.

Hopefully we can be less focused on Watson when he returns.
Could also allow us to use Jobe forward more, which can only be a positive- he's pretty dangerous up forward.

Love his mental resolve when the game is hot. The brownlow is wide open this year and he's a real chance, especially if he finishes the season off with his current form.
