Pretty sure all players from neutral clubs do a 3-2-1

So first stage is all club players vote 3-2-1 for their CLUB selections only. The top 3 from this vote go to the 'second stage'. From memory the EFC listed players nominated Heppell, Hooker and Goddard.

So once each club has selected their 3 nominee's..

The second stage is where every player votes 3-2-1 from the first stage club nominees to find a winner. *A player is NOT allowed to vote for the players from their own club.*

So it makes it pretty unique because you can get guys that are highly rated internally being thrown in the mix.. also shows you who players respect from teams. I think it is telling that a guy like Selwood went down the list.. can't help but wonder if the 'shrugging over the shoulder' effect is starting to wear a little thin with his peers...

Ahhhh so jealous.. to think we could have had Atley.

I guess we will just have to put up with our spud until we can trade him out...

I heard that every night Dodoro wakes up pouring in sweat after nightmares of Atley swooping off the half-back, picking up his 13th and final uncontested possession for the game.

Atley

Atley

Atley.....
I think this has officially lost its humour after he carved us up off half back Saturday night. Obviously Heppell will be the better player but North will be very happy with Atley.

Was going hard in the mosh at Kanye West last night.

Kinda a big disappointed that clubs aren't 'circling' Heppell.. if I was going to have a shot at a free star on our list.. I know who I would target..

Wonder if Doise feels a bit left out??

Surely we can have a bit of harmless fun?
Of course, and I have as much harmless fun as any around here sometimes. But it's so, so old.

They play different positions. Atley was picked ten picks after Heppell and the single reason the joke exists is because some North guy discovered a preparation video on the EFC site (as we had for several other players who we didn't pick, incidentally) and effectively added 2 and 2 together and got 11.

Atley's a very good player, but he's no Heppell. It's not like North missed out on picking Heppell though.

Quite a decent top 10.

Richmond, though... Conca's solid enough, but geez.

Classic Richmond.

To be fair they drafted a couple of grunt inside mids the draft before so they went for the outside class in Conca. I can see their thinking at least.

Looks to be firming as a certainty to get into the AA side.
