By the time he retires he's going to have so many accolades that us poor Essendon supporters are going to struggle to remember them all. We won't forget the premierships though.

Also said on 360 he thought Paddy would stay and Bomber will be staying too.

Was very definite about the latter.
Is there anyone who actually thinks Bomber is leaving though? I thought it was just a question of what role he plays?

Oh and Dyson is amazing.. 4th place in the MVP in his 4th year.. and it doesn't feel like a fluke.. he has just kept getting better from an amazing rising star rookie year and onwards..

Well done Doise!

Maybe if the lucky jocks hadn't been lost/destroyed then he might have won it?!!

Call this an educated hunch, but would there be anything in the fact that our head development coach has decided to 'seek opportunities elsewhere' as per the Hardingham article on AFsmell.com?

Bomber head of player development?

I always wonder about the players award after the incident in 2008, when not one Collingwood player voted Franklin in their top 3. I am surprised that Franklin finished number 3 in the MVP.

I am pleased that Z.Merritt came no 4 in the Rising Star Award.

Being considered, by his peers, around the same ilk as Fyfe, Ablett, Franklin is pretty special really.

Hopefully Fyfe vs Heppell can become like Voss vs Hird... an endless debate about who is the bigger champion of the game! No matter what happens from here, both Fyfe and Heppel have announced their arrival on the big stage...
