Which they are. He played well there last year. He played well there in pre-season. He played well there on Friday. If he were 190 cm and not 196 nobody would care.

Thought he showed plenty as a forward earlier on.

Though as a forward I think his go was very much high leading Nick Riewoldt style, so maybe I’m just splitting hairs.

Hope he can get forward and be a marking option at times from the wing.

He's better when matched with undersized opponents. Which he'll get most of the time on the wing, the exception would be Blicavs atm, and he probably doesn't have long left

We need to see if Hobbs and Tsatas are going to make it.

Durham back to the wing, have those two take all of the clearance work - and see what Jones can do behind the ball.

He’s a good kick, decent pressure and mobility, and… Durham is a much better wingman.

He’s a very good match up for sholl this week and should look to expose sholl who is pretty soft in the contest by pushing forward deep

He’s a utility playing on the wing. Not a bad commodity. Hope he consistently has games like that as he was very good. He’ll end up playing wherever best suits the team.

If he is a defender, Ridley has his spot.. so it's this period where he gets a go.

Having said that, I'm quite happy having him on the wing this year. Might not be his ultimate position but it's good for his game in the long run I reckon.
