I don't know why he hasn't been thrown to chb in games more. McKay, Reid and prior getting smashed and Jones unsighted. Why not give it a crack.

I think the only way he makes it is by adding the ability to cover key back if needed. A true utility.

Makes too many dumb mistakes on the wing and can only take a mark when he can drift in from the side. Would sooner let Shiel run up and down and play bruise free footy on the wing.

Can not mark so he is no good as a forward.
I thought he looked ok early on in his career in that roaming half forward type role like a Nick Riewoldt. The way he was playing it was like he was trying to run his opponents off their feet.

It seems a lot of our young players burst out of the gates and then go into their shells. Cox and Perkins also in the same boat, they showed quite a bit early and now not so much.

think we've found his baseline,

dozen possessions, 5 marks, if he can be a consistent 1.5 goals a game then he'd be worth the persistency. Hes a goal a game short imho after 50-odd games. Still only 24 so not a write off but want that improvement to come now
Unfortunately think he is mitch brown 2.0. Not horrible and play 150 odd games but not the upside hoped.

Still like to see him pinch hit chb as then is picked each week on versatility. Think 10 possession 1 goal games will be common place but runs hard and gives the side flexibility so you still picking him every week

I think of the young wingers who have come into their respective sides and done well. Xavier Lindsay, Caleb Windsor, NWM obviously doing well now. Do we look for this type of player? I know Duursma doing well but perhaps we look to add to the other side?

Joel frejia another, it seems to be a pattern that you can find these guys in the 20s and 30s and they will be ready to play year 1.

Well Martin should be proving he is the guy on the other side but before half time last night he seemed more interested in cheating forward of the footy than doing the up and back running. The combination of Duursma / Martin / SEW with a little Durham should be a good one.
Harry has basically played wing to create a situation where he can try and get a few marks without the pressure of a defender on him. It comes off a few times in games but he does not have the footy IQ to fill the other requirements of a winger. Tries hard for sure. The only way I am seeing a future for Harry now is if he can do a Liam Jones and is able to play as a defender.
