23 touches 8 tackles
Yes, his ball use was down last night, but he was our second highest for the season in DE%

The stat I care least about in the AFL basically. Tells you absolutely nothing.

Disposal efficiency again tells you nothing. Higher than Picketts which is just a complete falsity.

You really are one of th top Kent’s.

You probably could have used an actual skill error as opposed to a complete miss kick. Every player who’s ever played has done that at one time. I’d rather see a couple of poorly weighted kicks or bad decisions to highlight your point.
Then watch any of the other 22 disposals

Why hasn't he had a 7 year offer put in front of him. When was the last time a player won his first 8 games? Probably going back 50/60 yesrs for a Dees player..
Bryan Kenneally, who played in the ‘60 and 64 flags. Played 14 before he dropped one.

Right now JJ has the third greatest start to a player career at Melbourne of all time, and if he retired today he would have the second-best W-L record of all time among VFL/AFL players.

Did you watch last night? Koz couldn’t hit the side of a barn with his disposals. Was horrible.

Jake Melksham already has more goal assists than him this season.
I was asking because I find it way easier to be critical and observant without emotion if I know the result, nothing to do with Jordan or anything else.

Ngl thought you mend blind as in drunk..
Always watch it blind.
Ok. I often do a rewatch as my emotion (blind rage) often cloud my judgment during games. As I’ve said re JJ, the endeavour is there but skills and decisions are the next step in his evolution. At 8-0 I’m not ready to jettison him from the team yet, he gets immeasurable experience whilst playing in a winning team.

Jordan was pretty crap again for mine. He supposed to be in the side as a point of difference with his disposal but it was pretty terrible all night. Great run down tackle but he needs to work on his core strength.
I think you may have a vendetta here mate. He’s no superstar but i’m not really sure what you want from a player in his 8th game. Of course he’ll get stronger.

I'm just on the opposite side of those who give him votes for just being at the ground.

The game conditions was greasy in general. It had rained prior so in turn it affected the players skill level in general.
Petracca, Harmes, Brayshaw, Melksham were all just as sloppy.

Oliver on the hand was bloody clean. It was ridiculous watching him control the footy like he did in the wet.

killer game was everywhere. the most tackles for us and only 1 pressure act off being top of that. does the little dirty things

The kind of stuff coaches love. They'll no doubt highlight this internally in front of the group. In every premiership team, you need players like this that just do the absolute team things and sacrifice their role. Guys like Brett Kirk and Dale Morris spring to mind.

Having a great year is Jordon.

Liked his endeavour and not faulting him because he's only an 8 gamer, but yeh he needs to improve his disposal as the season goes on
