Variety reports that the project is in early development and, at this stage, it's not known whether Kiefer Sutherland would reprise his iconic role as Jack Bauer. There are also no plot details available yet.

He can only do it if he plays the elder leader to some young loose cannon.
I watched one of his recent series where he was a super genius private intelligence operator. I felt almost sad he thought he should or could pull it off. He is just too old now for that sort of thing. The story was fine, it just should have been a different, younger protagonist. I know he producing it, and it will make a profit with his picture on the poster, but please try more for quality.

I'm curious as to whether it will happen and I'll be all in if it does. Would be curious to see the various brainstormed ideas that they'd have.

Repeating myself from past topics but I'd be down for a cinematic season run (1 2 hour movie every month over 12 months) granted nobody else would sustain interest for that long
