He was very good on Saturday. A very important part of our future. I think some of us might forget he was Pick 13 in his Draft. You have to be more than a handy footballer to go that high in any draft.

For some ridiculous reason, I keep mixing up his guernsey number 24 with where he was picked in the Draft.

I'm going to make a very big call here, but maybe he is primed to become our version of Mitch Duncan at Geelong.

He's starting to remind me quite a bit of Scott Thompson of the Adelaide/Melbourne variety.

Who people forget was a 2 x B&F, AA and 300 gamer.

Lots of positives and rightly so... I won't repeat everything that's been highlighted above... So much to work with moving forward.

But at the risk of being shouted down, there are a few things to keep in mind about his game on Saturday:

  • He was on a debutant for practically the entire game
  • I know ranking points mean 2/5ths of stuff all, but said debutante actually out-ranked him (although mainly due to more tackles)
  • A team equal high of 6 clangers

Personally, I think this is all a positive as there are still things for Tom to improve on.

Still developing his tank, when he can run out games he is going to be a disposals pig.

Stoked to see him standing up in tackles so much better against the mature bodies, the hard work he put in in the gym over the pre-season is already paying dividends.
Has a good mix, inside and outside, with CP and UP.

Reckon, down the track, we will see some matrix type stuff where LDU and Wardlaw might give him or WiPhi the ball, and time slows down, only for the ball to be given back streaming towards goal.

Iirc both incidents were in the 2nd quarter. The first being when the King of Rye broke from the contest, looked to step onto his right and thingo Brayshaw nabbed him. Dermot mentioned obviously not hitting the ball on his left. However minutes later Tommy Powell on the burst, ran to his left side and hit a lovely 40 yarder off his left peg. Tommy Gun!

May very well develop into an A grader, composed, beautiful vision, tough, reads game very well, soft hands, dual sided and is covering the ground well. With a couple more pre seasons will be a complete package. knows how to kick a goal as well.
Also turning into a big boy, reckon will be a beast of a midfielder

Fukc off Noble
Here here Taz,

And while we are at it - let's Fukc right off the campaigners on here that were defending Noble last year re his treatment of TP.

I notice most of them have cancelled their BF accounts anyway so I assume they were mates of Nobles himself or just club employees.
