Another cracking game from Jazzy, and her team mates. A goal kicking midfielder is a must have for sides these days wanting to contend. Despite a hard tag in most matches, she has an uncanny knack of getting free in the right places at the right time. Never met her, but seems the most down to earth person and an awesome team mate. So proud we have her as a Roo!!

Barely talk about her on any of the AFLW official media. It's such BS bias.
She is the most understated superstar, the AFLW version of Dusty, she does her thing on the footy field and then hides until the next game.

I said the same thing to her and Jenna at the BnF two years ago. "Superstar. But humble. Dusty without the attitude" I gushed.
Jenna replied: "Believe me she's got plenty of attitude at home".

Its coming out now how bad the umps voting was:

AFLW awards: Jasmine Garner league best-and-fairest count again falls short{

There was a reason they picked up the cutlery and started banging the tables as Andrew Dillon read out the week five votes at the W Awards.

Perpetually snubbed, North Melbourne superstar Jasmine Garner polled three votes in a win over Richmond.

Last year the goalkicking mid polled 14 votes, she dominated the 2022 season but snagged just 12 votes and shockingly polled just four votes after being the best player of the 2020 campaign.

Again, the umpires just saw her differently to everyone else.

Garner didn’t poll in the opening four weeks of this season with the whistleblowers.

But the coaches gave her nine votes in round 1, seven in round 2, two in round 3 and a perfect 10 in round 4.

AFL boss Andrew Dillon had to stop his counting as people seated at North tables banged their fists and the rest of the room following by erupting into applause.

By that stage in the coaches award, Garner had 28 votes and sat fourth.

In the umpire count, she was on zip.

Everybody knows it.

So proud of this humble superstar we are so lucky to have at the Kangas. What a brilliant game on the biggest of stages. She brings me joy. And what an inspiration for any young girl wanting to play AFL. Go Kangas.
She’s a bona fide North Melbourne legend now

Underrated, unbelievable and unstoppable. A true footy genius

Love her to bits!

Very few players have even come close to doing it once. And the nearest miss is Garner's 2021 season (20.6 & 0.9).
