I do, his VFL form has trailed away lately and he is playing the best intercept marking defence who will feast on a first gamer

I'm happy to see him play but I'm not sure why they couldn't wait till next week .. hopefully he takes a couple and kicks 1 or 2 and makes me look like a fool

Yeah fair call but I think Frawley is only 50/50 to play which should lighten the load a bit.
I also think his selection means they know Hogan won't get up and as a club, they probably decided we supporters would rather see him get a chance than have to deal with Dawes and Pedo spoiling each other.

I agree with this. I'm very excited from the little I've seen from him, but IMO they picked him this week to try and generate some hype around our last home game rather than on form.

This isn't 2009. He's not a vulnerable Watts. It's not like this debut is going to damage him and while his form may not be great at the moment he's definitely earned a debut over the course of the year. He'll be fine.
