my sister in law worked for him at DMG, whether he is a plant or not is yet to be seen for you guys I guess, but I can tell you he was considered phenomenally good at his job and made a huge difference to the place.
Olech obviously thought a fair bit of him if he's now gone back after taking a job at DMG himself.
The Eastern State attitude of 'no one can do anything anywhere but here' is the only reason why a lot of DMG types left as they started centralising to Sydney.
I'd place greater confidence in securing long term viable sponsors with KT there than if he wasn't.

Hopefully it's just a 1 off. AAMI stadium breakeven is something around 27,500 and if that game was at AAMI a crowd of 15-20k would've rocked up. Even if the breakeven is 29k the crowds should average another 2k people to each game easily, which would still be an improvement from AAMI but that doesn't mean Port still isn't getting fuked over.
