Hes out of the game at the moment so he wouldn't be as a big a get as you'd think. Reckon he'd be a bit like Ross Lyon where he'd be interested if he was offered the job but wouldn't want to go through an interview process.
I more meant that hes getting paid well in the media, are we a club worth giving that away and trying to fix? He'd probably need to weigh that up and do some investigating himself. Could see us being a club where we have to hire someone who hasn't had a chance before coz we are that toxic right now. Coaching is a passion gig. Lyon was in the same boat with his media commitments and made the point that the pay is way better for the workload but he still went back into the coaches box. If he's still got the fire he'd pick up the phone.
Not sure he ran them into the ground, sometimes coaches just come to the end of their time and the message stops getting thru, Bucks had been there for a while.
IMO he was given the keys way too early but got better as time went on. The Collingwood team that won the premiership last year was basically the same team he built.
Which says what about his coaching? Those Collingwood teams always had a very good core of senior players (Pendlebury, Sidebottom, Crisp, Howe, Elliot) and have also been very lucky with father sons and academy over that time: Darcy Moore, Quaynor and the Daicos boys.
