Got a feeling Jacko would fire nearly everyone if he did our review, the president, the board, the coach.....the media department... I love that guy, no time for anyone's bullshit. Get him back.
 
I just feel we were lucky and maybe some other players who might have been around Smith weren't tested. If what I have been told is correct it could have been far worse.

It is sad that people need that stuff and are ignorant of the damage it can cause, imagine if it was fentanyl-laced.

If you consume after watching how they make it you deserve everything you get.

So earlier this month, the club gives Clarry an "ultimatum" but days later he ends up in hospital following a bender.

It is clear that the "ultimatum" was just an empty threat. Weak, spineless and cowardly leadership.

It will be interesting if the club gives the same amount of leeway to fringe players.
 
I ****ing loved the club under Roos and Jackson. Some of my favourite times.

Don't give a shit about wins and premierships, give me guys like Watts, Vince , Dunn and Bugg instead.

The club backed themselves into a corner by getting into a public spat with Bartlett, and blindly defending Goodwin notwithstanding it is well documented that he is a degenerate with substance abuse and gambling issues.

As an outsider, it is impossible to say if Goodwin is an enabler for the playing group but the optics are bad.

They gave Oliver an 'ultimatum' and did not follow through when he ****ed up. Huge sign of weakness in the club's leadership.

But I wasn't referring to players using, more so the personalities, this playing list has so my players id love to punch in the head, the playing list back then had guys I'd love to have a beer with, far easier to cheer for them.

I can’t see why he shouldn’t be delisted if that’s the case. He played well in finals but we can’t miss a pick at the next two drafts hoping for the glorious comeback of Joel Smith in mid-2025.
 
Jokes aside, doing coke a few days out of a final is shithouse. Not hard to stay off the drugs (and booze, to be honest) for a month.

No wonder we needed a hub to win a flag, needed lockdown to stay away from Melbourne's drug dealers.

100% agree. I hate this playing group.
So many unlikeable and boring bland people. There's no charisma.

I think Goodys to blame. You had guys like Kent kicking 4 bounce running goals under Roos. Under goody were ****ing robotic. Hate watching us often

Regular people do dry July and Oc-sober etc and these highly paid athletes can’t stay off the gear during the pointy end of the season, piss poor.
