Seems to me Long is going to have to let go of the bump and just start indiscriminately punching people in the throat behind play, since the Lynch precedent indicates that is fine by the tribunal ...

Oh well ... just gives us another reason to show up on Friday night, kick a bunch of Tiger butt, and thoroughly flip the bird in the AFL's direction ...

Fire up the boys Ratts. We've got nothing to lose so lets put on a good show.

Put all the negative press up around the rooms ....use it .

Stkilda can’t win No Ryder , No Carlisle , No Long .....all media taped to the walls .

Buckley used it magnificently on the weekend , prove to the football world
Don‘t let out side the four walls ....fuel it , drive it ....home .

He is a hot head. That 50 metre penalty was ludicrious

Savage for Long
Roberton for Carlisle
Battle for Paddy

Marshall full-time ruck
King pinch-hit
Not sure Battle will play, SEN today suggesting he has a hot spot in his foot if so he won't play
No it was MMM just before 7.00 am news

Reckon Longy's papers were stamped before he even stepped into Hades. "We want to eradicate the bump if it takes the head", the AFL cry. "The propensity for severe injury is too great and the action is what matters, not the outcome," they say.

Yeah right. Unless you're one of the AFL's protected species in which case we'll line up a team of neurosurgeons to prove the impact was inconsequential and just give you a fine.

Just like they did with the sling tackle earlier in the year. "We've got to stop the sling tackle, it's too dangerous. Someone will end up a paraplegic."

Yeah, right. Until Shaun Burgoyne did it twice in a handful of games. So they decided to seek medical advice and surprise, surprise Burgoyne got a fine both times.

F*kwits. Stop picking and choosing when to look at the outcome and heed the medical diagnosis when it suits you. Then other times ignoring the outcome and just focusing on the action and the potential for injury. One size should fit all.

And for f*ksake send that flog Christian packing to Collingwood. I'm sure Eddie will have a job for him. After all he's obviously still on their payroll.

We can win, this is the mob whose fans picket their own headquarters and who hold players who think boozing at a pub, punching on and doing whatever in a pandemic and state of emergency is "brilliant life choices".

Will be hard no doubt, but can be done so Ratts can go 8-0 and out think Dimma some more.

I was expecting this result after the disgraceful way Long was treated earlier in the year.

He deserved a couple against Fremantle but to bring up his junior record, anyway disappointing of Macrae imo not to just give the kid a helping hand. This is football after all, last time I checked you can bump and tackle so talking about the possibility of injury is laughable.

Someone should tell these clowns to never watch the women’s game, they go twice as hard.

really thought he would get off.
lets all harden up a bit, we can appeal, if not lets go left field selections and go chaos ball, I love being the underdog and having our backs against the wall, lets play to win and pull off one of a great upset victory.

go saints!

MRO have now set a precedent that its not only about injury caused but its also now about whether your head snaps back sufficiently.

Mind totally blown o_O

Lol yet another thing that changes after we get f***** over by it first.

- Hawkins poster in the GF, then they bring in technology
- Extra time in the GF, after we lose in the replay
- Players get weeks based on potential outcome not the ACTUAL outcome, as soon as a STK player does it

I know there’s more

Re Carlisle. Dylan Roberton in the wings. Apologies if this has been covered before. What has happened to Logan Austin? Got injured but then disappeared. Any inside story? Not up to it?

And I thought Clavarino was coming along ok.

Clavarino is coming along really well , he’s still a baby , learning developing.

Look at Doedee as example for mine .

Logan Austin is for me a player who we select as a forward , purely because of size & mobility.
for a suprise that Tigers wouldn’t plan around at this stage.
Marsh & Roberton ......down back .
