He was terrible in the first half with 7 possessions at 28% de. the rain brought his lack of pace and him into the game. Still a poorly skilled overrated kick chaser. He would want it to rain until the GF as he's slow and unskilled. Need to see a hell of a lot more from this guy to justify his price and pick six. If people were excited about his game then they have nfi.

Prestia starting to get his motor going. 16km today follows15.5km last week. Fastest average speed in defence and second quickest in attack

Just goes to show that the so called fitness issue shouldn't be used as an excuse for his shit disposal and lack of ball winning

Next loss theyll be back
That's funny as we won last week and we were here , another poor statement on your behalf. As usual egging for an argument.
Enjoy the win as I've made my comment on him and I'm not letting a troll like you ruining my day. Get a life mate and play the thread and not the man.

He was running by himself for most of those. Did you watch the game CB? He's got no acceleration and guess what do you know why his disposal is poor? It's bc he's often stationary when disposing the ball. My tractor goes half his pace and still covers 16km. That stat you gave us is useless.

I would describe dion as a quality player that is underdone. Plain and simple. We all saw what he done at the goldcloast and how damaging he was. His body is what is holding him back. You can tell with his lack of penetration in his kicking. To call him a kick chaser is laughable. More like doing what he can to help the team whilst trying to get his body back on track.

Nah, the stat isn't useless as it shows workrate. The guy is working hard and improving.
If it wasn't for guys like him, Cotchin and Martin wouldn't be having the seasons they are having. He helps the sum of all parts.

50% disposal efficiency ...

same as dud grigg

Yeah, the conditions were great today for skilled, clean football.

they were not good conditions yet Prestia skills have been poor in the dry too this year

i like the kid but theres room for improvement.

But that's the point. He is getting better.

His work rate is non existent. A brisk walk can cover 8km/h , so in two hours most players will be around 15-16km especially mids.
He's often jogging by himself and waiting for a turnover so he can get a cheapie. His work rate at the stoppages and contest is what is important and it's substandard. If that km stat is what you're preaching to pump him up above ball winning and disposal then youre barking up the wrong tree. He hasn't even got a sprint on him and is a witches hat waiting to be spotted. He needs to lift as he's a joke for what the reviews on him were.

You know i have no issues with you point of view. I guess i am judging his game on different aspects on a team based things. I feel his game compliments Cotch and Dusty and allows them to become more dangerous and play other areas. Nank has helped, but so has this guy and Caddy.

Subtle dig that we used pick 6 on him instead of getting a teenager? Probably not I suppose.

He's about to turn 25 and I'm not overly impressed in terms of value so far, but whinging wont help and I just hope he can improve to be a meaningful factor in success. Just winning the flag this year would immediately justify it in my eyes.

Caddy has been a winner IMO , but people will argue otherwise.
Nakkers has been outstanding and the real reason behind our success bc Hampson was near enough useless.
Prestia has had no impact as he cannot win his own ball , lacks genuine defensive skills, has no pace and worst of all he is a clanger machine. If he wasn't in our side we would have won all the games we've won and possibly could have won some that we lost as we wouldn't have started a man short. I still think he should be in the seconds killing it and getting match fit ( not Sunday jogger fit) bc he looks so one paced it's not funny.
Even Corey Ellis looked faster than him . If he was getting in the coal face and hunting the ball he would be a little bit more palatable to the eye , but he's just plodding around looking for easy possessions. Any mid in our seconds could have done that role , but I guarantee you they would have been dropped after two weeks.

That's a fair enough and honest post . I'm only judging him on what I've seen at Tigerland as I rarely watched GC games , but I do have reservations when a player has missed 50% of games in the past two seasons. Still cannot believe he's not fit so far into a season , yet people are telling us he's doing these amazing things over a 2hr / 16 km jog. To this stage if he's not fit then he shouldn't be playing.
