A lot of our supporters declared he was not a need because we had a number of young defenders.Didn't North supporters say he was crap and were happy to see the back of him?
Yep. Him going to Essendon continues the torture. It would be killing them that he is playing so well. They will never admit it.Didn't North supporters say he was crap and were happy to see the back of him?
they never will, since there's only one of them, they're not really twins (have they ever been in the same room as one another???)Good interview this morning with Gary and Tim.
Few points discussed
-Transition from north to ess
-Talks about the playing group and mentions Caldwell stringer Harry and duurs
-On defence - talks a little about the back 6 and what they want to achieve with the help of Ben Jacobs.
-Outside interests - weekly podcast with Harry talks about football and life as a twin
-On choosing number 32
- will he and Harry ever play in same game??
Full interview available on SEN website
So are you're trying to say we should try him forward?they never will, since there's only one of them, they're not really twins (have they ever been in the same room as one another???)
absolutely. So are you're trying to say we should try him forward?
Crazy… or crazy like a fox?.So are you're trying to say we should try him forward?
Devil's advocate though: We have a lot of players who could potentially play tall back. With us out of the race he may have stayed or hawks (or whoever) may only have triggered a mid 1st round pick. With our selection not being pushed back there's no need to throw away a second rounder and we take more young talent in the draft. We might finish a little lower this year and get a slightly better pick in this years draft. All of a sudden our rebuild could start to look like 6 years instead of 8...A lot of our supporters declared he was not a need because we had a number of young defenders.
Or he just plays FB for the next 6 years and you fix one issue while you can and the rebuild still looks like 5 or 6 years.Devil's advocate though: We have a lot of players who could potentially play tall back. He's halfway there already and it's Round 6On the bright side for Ben, within 2 years he will win more games with us than his entire career previously. It's all about perspective.
8 years, this is year one.Or he just plays FB for the next 6 years and you fix one issue while you can and the rebuild still looks like 5 or 6 years.
5 or 68 years, this is year one.
Think it’s a 6 year deal with trigger for a 7th5 or 6
yep, I was guilty and I'll happily put my hand up and say I was wrong.A lot of our supporters declared he was not a need because we had a number of young defenders.
