I hope that’s not the case - Leave him forward. He did play a couple of games down back in the under 16’s VC but was soon moved back to the forward line.

His a natural forward that’s all he’s ever known. I know Sheezel was a forward but two different players.

hehehe,,,,,might have involved a lot of alcohol, sleeping in the top bunk of a live aboard dive boat in SE Asia, who's captain decided it was a good idea to lift anchor at 4am and get to the next destination in pretty choppy seas!.......context....nah not that impressive! But one positive of that night is I invented a new cocktail....the "GinSing"......when you run out of Tonic and decide to mix Bombay Saphire with Singha beer.

Brayden George Special Edition:​

Fabulous to see Braydo joining in drills for the first time after the long long road back from injury.
Still a little while off contact training but all non contact is on the table for him.

First observations:
He is MEGA determined. Very focussed. I think he has something to prove.
Kicking:
What clean short kicking this kid has. Rarely misses a target and the ball covers the space fast, low and directly at the player without the receiver needing to reach left or right (and therefore allow easier spoiling).
His long kicking is something to see as well. Kicking goals from inside the centre square and clearing the fence. Easily 65m kicks without a lot of obvious effort.

Handball:
I've been frustrated over the last few years by our clubs inability to handball well with many players not seeming to have any power behind their handball. Braydo seems to be able to handball 20m with ease and, like his kicking, they are direct and have power.
Two very positive assets.

Running:
The only long run today he seemed to struggle a little and seemed to be feeling it during his first extended training session. Get a few sessions under his belt and I am sure he will be better for it.

Today I mostly kept an eye on Braydo but I will post a few other pics from the day in another post.
