Great to see this myth put to bed once and for all. Faster than Shai, Balta, Oleg and Marlion. No slouches !

It just goes to show what a difference full fitness makes. When fully fit, Jack is becoming a weapon, a 35kmh flying fridge ! JGTI

yep! I never subscribed to the theory he was slow. At full speed he’s never been slow, but Bc he repeat sprints so often he’d be knackered and then people seeing him at the end of a play would say “oh look how slow he is” refusing to consider maybe he was knackered from Running long and hard Literally the successive plays before that

Like everyone else absolutely ecstatic with this news. It goes back to 2017 when walking off the ground, captain Cotchin could have easily walked off the ground and into the rooms leading the troops holding that elusive Premiership Cup on his own. Taking all the glory. But that’s not his style. After basically a decade with us and the disappointment of losing finals in straight sets and then the crap we dished up in 2016 who would have blamed him with that glory? But no. This great leader decides to share this historic and momentous occasion with not his great mate Dusty, the Brownlow medalist and norm smith winner or Edwards amongst others that had done the hard yards, but with JG34. I even remember at the time thinking why? I know understand. Cotchin and Dimma saw something in JG34 that we supporters didn’t at the time. PF against Geelong last year absolutely proved it. If that was Selwood or dangerflog that displayed that type of courage and the cats won that night, the wankfest in the media would have been of biblical proportions. JG34 is what WE are all about. Sacrifice, selflessness and courage. Like many have stated. This Jack is a leader and future captain. Jack Graham that is.

not the quickest the other guys are still quicker just that his top speed this season has been clocked the quickest - but it puts to bed the myth that he’s slow.
He’s gps must have malfunctioned that day... absolutely no hope he has ran quicker than all of our players this year. Zero chance

This is great news and I would have been surprised if he took the money.
I've got alot of interest in Jack GTI because he and my son were trying out for the SANFL at around the same time.
One ended up at my beloved Tiges and the other decided professional footy wasn't for him.

Something not mentioned so far I think is the influence this bloke has had on Jack GTI and Dusty knocking back 'life changing' offers.
You may recognise him:

Yep, runs himself into the ground. At only 22 by the time he's 25 he will be sustaining it for longer periods. I just love his no nonsense attitude. And he loves to tackle. Nuff said

JG; Hey Trent can i speak with you
TC: Yeah mate what is it
JG: Well the blooz have offered me big bucks to go there
TC: How much and what has tigers offerd
JG: Blloz 6hunch and Tiges 4
TC: Your 22 your getting 400k and playing in flags with Dusty,Lynch,Jack etc and the 200k extra half goes to tax so 100
JG: Thanks skip luv ya mate

The GPS technology clocks it at a certain point, he could have hit that speed for 0.03 of a second, which doesn't tell you much as over sustained speed there's others quicker. You'd need your head checked if you thought he was actually functionally faster as a runner across a reasonable distance than some of other guys.

I have to say he seems to have improved in the last couple of months but I am slightly thinking I would have maybe liked to have seen him on a 2 year deal rather than 3. I'm still not 100% sold on his capabilities with the ball and winning the ball even though he is fantastic without the ball.

The next step Id like to see him take is to bump that disposal average up a few pegs.

My thing is our game plan doesn’t revolve around high possession numbers so I don’t think we should expect 25 every week to show his improvement imo
