The GPS technology clocks it at a certain point, he could have hit that speed for 0.03 of a second, which doesn't tell you much. You'd need your head checked if you thought he was actually functionally faster as a runner across a reasonable distance than some of other guys.
I have to say he seems to have improved in the last couple of months but I am slightly thinking I would have maybe liked to have seen him on a 2 year deal rather than 3. I'm still not 100% sold on his capabilities with the ball and winning the ball even though he is fantastic without the ball.
The next step Id like to see him take is to bump that disposal average up a few pegs.
Well which part did you not understand? What are u talking about
Yeh not necessarily, but for him and his next step of development its the offensive side of his game which includes getting the pill. <15 touches a game on average, he can certainly get better there. My thing is our game plan doesn’t revolve around high possession numbers so I don’t think we should expect 25 every week to show his improvement imo
Maybe the part where you don't understand that he was recorded as the fastest Richmond player this year?Well which part did you not understand?

Yeh..... that doesn't mean much without context of how that technology works.Maybe the part where you don't understand that he was recorded as the fastest Richmond player this year?
The GPS technology clocks it at a certain point, he could have hit that speed for 0.03 of a second, which doesn't tell you much as over sustained speed there's others quicker. You'd need your head checked if you thought he was actually functionally faster as a runner across a reasonable distance than some of other guys.
So is Jack Ross based on those numbers. Neither are players youd call quick relative to some others in the side.Graham is also consistently the highest ranked player on the ground for average speed.

I dont think he's slow, but Ave speed is not a good indication of top speed. So is Jack Ross based on those numbers. Neither are players youd call quick relative to some others in the side.
I mean we know who our quick players are, its the Bolton, Balta, Markov, probably Rioli types. You wouldn't have Graham in that category I dont think.

Good hardworking midfielders are always on the move no matter what, where HBF and HFF potentially are slowly walking/shuffling around when set up in zones behind/in front of the footy.... '

It is a great sign of workrate though,

Who was doing the timekeeping, his mother.Maybe the part where you don't understand that he was recorded as the fastest Richmond player this year?
Must have been empty at the time. The fridge express
What about Ross. Future gun in my eyes and ready to go right now. Next season Martyn? Getting good raps from coaches, Cumberland looked physically ready in the U18's. Cotchin is going nowhere, nor Martin, Prestia and Edwards.Since we got Graham for longer which is great it baffles me why we would be chasing Crouch. Not quite the same but I think if we get another mid we should be chasing someone slightly different.
We want players that complement our youngsters.
I hope RCD Graham and co are all playing next year and going strong because we have so much to look forward to into the future particularly with Bolton and Balta amongst others coming on in a big way

We know Crouch's ceiling, we have no idea about Ross and RCD and how far they will go.I agree. I understand that Crouch is great at contested possessions. But is he what we need right now? I'm not so sure. If Graham keeps going, Ross improves and RCD steps up with maturity, where's the spot for another inside mid?

Yes that is what I am also saying. Much prefer the idea of developing draft pics.I understand Crouch, but I also think that our younger guys are ready to go and do perform. I'd back out system rather than Crouch. I want us to try and get a younger KPF/KPD. Keep CCJ if possible.
