The Ed Curnows of the world are the glue that holds footy clubs together. He created an environment that was both fun and competitive with his tremendous work ethic.

Whilst limited in football ability compared to many, Ed's preparation, work ethic, work rate and running power was second to absolutely none of his peers both within the club and in the entire competition.

One of the great Clubman our football club has seen.

Thanks Ed, forever Carlton.

2013 Forecast:
He was a Blue since BigFooty was on vBulletin. Think about it.

I reckon he could be offered a job at the club working with Power as the development coach. He would kill it working with the young mids improving their endurance and stamina.
I don't think he's been doing all that work at uni to slum it as an assistant coach. I suspect he has higher ambitions.

I always liked to imagine that my AFL career would have been like Eds:
  • team first
  • gut running
  • all effort
  • tagger who loves to go forward for a sausage roll

He was just 99% better at it then me and in the end played 221 more games than me (probably).

Nice work Ed !!!!!!
