Can't understate the work guys like Carrazzo and Curnow put in over the years. And more generally, reaching 200 games in AFL is no mean feat - can't be more than a few percent of players that ever play the game, I'd reckon.

Arficle says AFL proposing to allow rookies a fourth year in 2022, given developing players have missed a lot of footy in last 18 months.
Setting aside whether you think they should be retained, it means Carlton could keep Owies and/or cottrell on the rookie list for an extra season.
Especially big for Owies considering he's a cat B, almost certainly assures he will be on the list for another year
