Bring him in and sub him 10 mins into the third quarter? Looks like he’s ready
Prefer more runs in the legs, but I get where you are coming from.

I've got my doubts about him long term in the AFL.

I reckon he would have been a dominant force 30 years ago, similar to a Scotty Wynd.

I see him as a 75-100 game type, then a really good backup ruckman at AFL level that completely dominates the VFL in his late 20's (i.e Tom Campbell)

He's not going to be able to physically have his way with AFL ruckman, like he does at VFL level. On average they are probably 2-3" taller and about 10-15kg heavier.

That physicality is what he bases his game on. He's been a bit hot and cold to date at AFL level with his marking, he really needs to get that consistent (and quickly), as that's where I see his value being, as he can definitely move around the ground well.

He's not a great tap ruckman either at all levels, which only gets harder at AFL level.

I see his niche being a bit more of a rough around the edges version of Rowan Marshall.

Add in his proclivity for giving away completely unnecessary free kicks, we’ve got a real winner.

Clarksons system requires a brute ruckman that competes and is physical. It's why we leant towards X at the start of the year & why he will take Goldys spot this week.
Agree..It time to bring him in. Time has moved on for Goldy and he cannot see out a full game any more so he either needs help or be replaced in the team...

It was evident on Sunday that he has improved his mobility and tank immensely in the past 12 months. I think we will see a different player to what we saw in his last crack at the top level.
i hope he doesn't crack anything this time.

I think the Xerri we saw in 2022 and before is old news.

He looked very lively and got on top in the ruck contests in round 1 before getting injured. I'm very excited to see where he goes from here and have very little doubt about his future at North.
First time I've seen him play and been as confident about his future. If he can remotely cover ground and hit contests in the AFL like that he will have a good solid career. Really positive.

Are they? Rucks are getting lighter all the time as the emphasis moves to being more of a big ass midfielder
