GWS have cap issues that's why they are gonna lose Taranto and Hopper. Doubt they would take on Dusty's salary and can't see us paying part of his salary to play for another club.

We were in a no-win situation. Playing an underdone Dusty meant he wasn't going to have the impact a lot of supporters and media were expecting. If we wanted to have him playing if we ended up going deep into the finals, then he had to be played to get that match fitness.

Last night I watched Dimma say that Dusty is 100% invested in playing on and he can't wait to get back to playing footy, Robbo replied that "We can put it to bed then?", Dimma said "Yes". Now Matthew (wouldn't know if his ass was on fire) Lloyd is asking the same old questions this morning saying Dusty might quit or play for another club and he will never get back to his best. Next time I use the restroom Matthew I will wave goodbye to you as I hit the flush button.

How the AFL and sports media can talk about mental health and anxiety and then hound Dusty for interviews and shit on him for not wanting to do them is ridiculous. I rarely feel sorry for Richmond but you can't help but feel that way when one of their greatest ever players is consistently hounded like this over his career.
This all began in the mind of that little hater Sam McClure, he had no proof nothing, but just went with the story anyway and has pushed it weekly, these pathetic excuses for sports reporters know that they still make money even if they are totally wrong, not worth listening to.

Yeah, well said Fev. When I was a young bloke your Blues had the magnificent Bruce Doull playing for them. He was also very reclusive when it came to media attention and the public spotlight, and like Dusty, the Flying Doormat just had a passion for his club and playing footy. Never once in my recollection did the footy media back then hound him for interviews or relentlessly question his commitment to his club and guernsey. ****en parasites.

A little while ago, Dimma said “he goes with our blessing.” If he didn’t want to take that back straight away, Benny and Balmey certainly did…Since then the media have been in raptures…It was the right thing to play 80% Dusty, because he would’ve been 90 for the next…Maybe he comes back at 100 and helps Taz to his first, and Jack and Cotch to their last…
