He’s a good size. Has a bit of go in him. Looks super fit. Plays with a bit of x-factor.

So, you reckon he’s headed to Adelaide, DY?Early crow but he’ll be traded/delist by end of year
Nah he’s just a below average mentally fragile player. He’s shown glimpses here n there, very slim chance he’s on our list come years endSo, you reckon he’s headed to Adelaide, DY?
I’m inclined to agree but with you - which is a pity…Nah he’s just a below average mentally fragile player. He’s shown glimpses here n there, very slim chance he’s on our list come years end

Yeah I like him but he has a few things going against him. He's had a few years on the list now and the clock is definitely ticking for blokes who aren't 195cm+. He was also taken late in the draft, so won't be afforded the same number of opportunities as someone taken in the first round. He's also competing in an area of the ground where we have a heap of competition already (medium forward). He’s a good size. Has a bit of go in him. Looks super fit. Plays with a bit of x-factor.

It's a shame that CZ is keeping Ford out - because Ford has a much higher ceiling imo.Yeah I like him but he has a few things going against him. I don't see him keeping out CZ, Curtis, Duurs, Parker/Simpkin. He'd need to be in the top 3-4 of that group to flourish in the role.
His best bet is probably targeting that wing. Scott, Stephens, O'Sullivan and the surplus mids is probably a less daunting group.
If we're being frank, his brainHe’s a good size. Has a bit of go in him. Looks super fit. Plays with a bit of x-factor.

Rather stab my self repeatedly in the face with a hot soldering iron than bare to listen to that clown showWill be appearing as a guest for the Further North Podcast live show in a month or two (last year they had Comben on). Really interested in his perspective as someone who is on the fringe of selection/contract.
Well hope you have fun with that.Rather stab my self repeatedly in the face with a hot soldering iron than bare to listen to that clown show
Could have almost predicted this response word-for-word. It must be a miserable existence being so hate-filled.Rather stab my self repeatedly in the face with a hot soldering iron than bare to listen to that clown show
The fact that we all know what kick this is referring to is staggering. We're really that deficient in quality ball use going forward. **** me I hope that changes this year2 of his kicks today were sublime.
The first he was running into goal about 40 put on a 45 degree angle. Instead of kicking at goal at the last minute he hooked the ball across his body to an unmarked larkey.
The second was even better. It was reminiscent of waps kick to larkey in year 1 where he held it and held it and then drew larkey to the ball with the kick. This time ford had marked about 60 out and ignored all leads for 5-6 seconds and then kicked to bull, again across body who was leading horizontally out the back, hitting him on the chest.
I've thought that Ford's footy ceiling was higher than Cam's; for example, Cam doesn't take the sort of marks that Eddie does. In my know-nothing opinion, I also thought that Cam's 5 year deal was as much as maintaining team morale and the optics of having a senior player jumping ship.
Cam has taken 4 or 5 contenders for Mark of the year over his career.. A question for those who saw training yesterday, who do you think stood out more: Cam or Eddie?
He is a reasonable argument for our best field kick from a technical POV for mine. Obviously, there is more to it than just being able to hit a nice kick but he has one of the most flexible, deft kicks on him I've seen since maybe Boomer. Can really finesse the ball to land exactly where he wants in a way that very few players can.The fact that we all know what kick this is referring to is staggering. This is a North Melbourne forum. When something positive happens, i’ll talk positive. Until then, you’ll see me talk up a player here n there and be realistic about everything else.. that podcast is ratshit. Doesn’t deserve a listenerDude don't you get tired of being negative about everything?

I have.. you lot are too insecure to accept it as a positive. I have been overwhelmingly positive about it. I could go a lot harder on itWe won an AFLW flag. You could talk about that positively……..
