He seriously has the toughest knees in the buisness. He hyper extended his knee a few years back in the vfl when a player fell over his leg. Thought he had done a knee there for sure too.

Best case scenario given the footage.

"The list hasn't changed much "

So what do you call 15 changes you ****en flog???!
Compared to what? Last week? Last year? Last time we played Port?
If he means last week, I guess he's right.
Last time we played Port, we had White, Yarran, Buckley, Carrazzo, Henderson, Menzel, Bell, Graham and Wood all playing, replaced this time by Jamison, Plowman, Byrne, Wright, Sumner, Jones, Thomas, Lamb and Kerridge.
Reckon you'd struggle to find another team that has gone up against someone from one year to the next (11 months) with 9 changes.

Is it funny or just disheartening how everyone that had a knock on big Levi is now ruing the injury. His around the ground marking has been superb, taking away the 50/50 contests..That to mine is very valuable and if can snag a couple of goals even better. He will be missed and hopefully that is acknowledged on here..Best of luck in your recovery big Cas.
I'm not going to deny that his marking around ground won't be missed, and I'm not having a go at his performances this year, but I actually thought we looked better and more unpredictable after he was out. It forced our other forwards to work a bit harder and forced our inside delivery to be more measured. Players had to look for a shorter option around the 40-50m range instead of just bombing towards the square.
Also forced us to give Rowe another crack forward. Something I had been wondering about for a while now, and will most likely force us to give Jaksch an extended run. Something he was pushing towards, but there just hasn't been any room for him.

Having said that, I obviously wish Cas a speedy recovery and can't wait to see him back in the side at some point.

So glad he didn't do any damage to his ACL.

The injury looked terrible at the game so to only be out for 6-8 weeks is a good result given how bad it could quite easily have been.

Hopefully his recovery goes without complication & he works his way back into the senior side during the second half of the year.

I agree, that was as ACL looking as they get.

Really sad for him, I felt like he had another big game brewing. Hopefully he picks up where he left off when he comes back.

If Levi comes straight back in, he needs to focus on the ball and not his opponent.

The change to the forward structure should suit him better with the younger and more mobile Silvagni, Curnow and KJ instead of Daisy, Walker and Everritt.

Time for Levi to be a leader for these kids and open space by crashing packs like he wants to hurt someone. Leave the fancy stuff to others, he is far too important in his other role.

Not sure if anyone noticed this before. Caught a few old replays on youtube recently. There was a premiership key forward that held ball equally as bad as Casboult when he kicked and I am sure played over 200 league games and kicked about 7 goals in his last ever game that was against us. If that guy could survive and have a decent career maybe Levi still can. Is there still hope for Levi ?;)
Reckon if Levi could talk to him for pointers based on similar weaknesses and strengths it might be handy.

Happy the big lug is sticking around. About to hit his physical peak, will be dangerous with a good midfield and developing forward line.

In the grand scheme of things, Levi has forged a pretty good decade-long, 100+ game career for a late rookie draft selection. We got a bargain here, because we paid nothing and got a contributor. No star, but I'm happy for Levi to stick around for another 2 years. Provides structure, size, protection. I was of the view he'd be worth enough to someone else to cash in, but either he's not, or he didn't want to. So all good.
